I have found a great video on Self-Defense and there are some senior citizens who are using their canes for protection. The program is called Cane-Fu!

Good Morning! It's Memorial Day and Monday Motivation time! I would like to first give thanks to all of the fallen men and women in the military who served our country selflessly and courageously. We would not be the country we are today without the military ready to fight and do battle. It makes me proud to have served in the United States Army. -Selena

"God what are you trying to tell me and what do you want for me to learn and understand from this?"
Well I went to kroger tonight and found a nice surprise nestle candy was 2 for $1 which means free with the coupon that came out in the 5/1 insert. They had butterfingers babyruth and crunch bars all for 2 for $1 so I loaded up there perfect for lunches for the hubby . Got 28 full size candy bars for .14 I am a happy woman lol..So, if you have your Sunday inserts, look for the coupons to get you an even lower amount off on your Nestle Candy at your local Kroger. I know that Kroger is also a family supermarket with Ralphs, which is also in my area. I will be looking into this myself!
We would love to hear how much you were able to save or any insider savings tips you have, so leave your comments!
The Way You Look Tonight
Some day, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you...
And the way you look tonight.
Yes you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you,
And the way you look tonight.
With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fear apart...
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
It touches my foolish heart.
Lovely ... Never, ever change.
Keep that breathless charm.
Won't you please arrange it ?
'Cause I love you ... Just the way you look tonight.
Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm,
Just the way you look to-night.
The first thing some people might do is collapse into a great depression. Other people might isolate themselves from their friends and family to attempt to hide the truth and then there are others who may attempt to make friends with drugs and alcohol. I believe everyone has a friend, family member, or even the person within themselves who have settled on at least one of the above options, however, I myself, have learned to do away with at least one of these above.
I have learned from much personal development and spiritual wisdom that with every problem and obstacle there is a solution. It may be hidden deep down within us or spoke by a stranger just passing by, but there is a solution. God says, "if ye seek ye shall find" and I believe this wholeheartedly. Here is a great example of this: Have you ever misplaced your keys or a shoe and looked under the bed and in the closet about 10 times and became frustrated, then when you said, okay, I give up, then when you least expected it your keys or shoe just shows up?This is what I'm referring to when I say seek and ye shall find. When we stop trying to stress ourselves over things that are out of our control and trust in God for a better understanding of our situations, we can rest in His reasoning and just move forward through the problem or obstacle "against all odds". He is the only person you have to answer to for guidance. He will show up and show out in your problem or obstacle if you would only step back and let him do his creative works in your situation.
In closing, on this Sunday, if you're having to tackle a problem or obstacle, remember that you don't have to go through it alone, because there is someone you don't have to wait to make an appointment with. He is available to you wherever you are and at any time of day or night. I am so thankful for this because sometimes, friends and family mean well, but they just can't tackle some issues that I may have and it's best to give it over to a higher authority of power who can work on it in a more humbling and peaceful way. In the end, teaching me how to react and handle my next problem or obstacle better in the future.
